Entrepreneurial Orientation of Domestic Private Banks and Psychological Traits of Sales Personnel under the moderating impact of Organizational Learning Capability In Multan City Human Resource Management deals with organization, employees and organization’s internal and external environment. The driving force for our research was the commonplace observation that sales personnel employed with banks are frequently hired and fired while training and development of employees was totally ignored. My conceptual framework suggested hiring of sales personnel considering three psychological traits i.e. Tolerance for Ambiguity (TA), need for achievement (nACH) and internal locus of control (ILOC) followed by training i.e. organizational learning capability (OLC) to improve overall entrepreneurial orientation (EO) of the bank. The aim of my research was to ascertain the moderation impact of OLC on the relationship between psychological traits of sales personnel and entrepreneurial orientation (EO) of the bank. I obtained data from 17 domestic private banks having regional headquarters in Multan by a questionnaire. I have used Multiple Linear Regression and Andrew F. Hayes PROCESS Macro in SPSS 23. I have found positive moderation effect of OLC on the relationship. I concluded that organizations i.e. banks need to integrate ingredients of OLC in their organization and employees of the organization require adequate training to be more effective. Furthermore, keeping a properly trained and sizeable sales force is more viable than engaging and disengaging new employees over and again. Implications of this research can be successfully incorporated in banking sector of Pakistan by imparting adequate training and ensuring development of employees in the longer run under the moderating impact of OLC.

EVALUATING MUTUAL FUND PERFORMANCE IN PAKISTAN: VALIDATING CAPM, FAMA FRECNH-3 FACTOR AND CARHART-4 FACTOR MODELS This study examines and analyzes the performance of mutual funds in Pakistan testing the suitability and validity of multifactor asset pricing models. This study analyzed the data for the period 2010 to 2016. The study aimed at understanding the suitability of the various assets pricing models like CAPM, Fama French 3-factor and Carhart 4-factor. The study has first investigated the models testing and then investigated the effects of funds factors on their risk adjusted performance. The study collected data from 150 open-ended mutual funds traded on MUFAP and applied these three models first and then analyzed the impact of the various funds' factors on their performance. The results confirmed that CAPM is the more suitable model, which explain well the performance of mutual funds as compared to the two other models i.e. Fama French 3-factor and Carhart 4-factor. Secondly, the study analyzed 40 funds determinants effects on their risk adjusted performance. The results found that the expense ratio has a positive but insignificant effect on the risk adjusted performance of funds. The results also showed that the fund age has a positive significant effect on the risk adjusted fund performance. The results demonstrated a positive significant relationship between fund size and their risk adjusted performance. However, fund liquidity showing a negative significant effect on the mutual funds’ performance.
CAPM VS DCAPM: An empirical study on Pakistan Stock exchange This study investigates applicability of Capital Asset Pricing Model and Downside Capital Asset Pricing model in Pakistani Stock Exchange. The second reason for conducting the study is to dig out a better performing model in Pakistan. CAPM is used as a tool for the valuation of investment in Stock Market with the relationship of Excess Stock Return and risk on Stocks. The study is conducted in Pakistan Stock Exchange as the main and the only stock Market in Pakistan. The analysis is done by taking 60 companies which were randomly selected from the market. The weekly returns are taken for each of the company. Beta for every company was calculated individually. The market returns were regressed with the individual company return individually for both CAPM and Downside CAPM. Later on the portfolios were constructed on the basis of beta. The portfolios were then regressed with the market return. The results suggested that testing CAPM on individual company base perform better than the Downside CAPM but on the other hand, portfolio base results suggested that Downside CAPM perform better than the CAPM. The results of the investigation are in accordance with alternate studies conducted in Pakistan Stock Exchange however with different time and test measure.
The Impact of Liquidity on Stock Returns Listed on Pakistan Stock Exchange Liquidity has been recognized to influence stock returns because of its significance to the investor, financial markets and listed companies. Even though sufficient literature have been recorded the relationship between liquidity and daily stocks returns. However, the documented results of this relationship are mixed. This may be because of the reasons that liquidity has many dimensions and proxies for its measurement. The main aim of this study is to investigate the liquidity with reference to stock returns, to measure the liquidity in a scientific method of share Turnover ratio, Volume and ILLIQ measures and to find out the relationship between liquidity and daily stocks returns in Pakistan. Three separate models are used for the turnover, volume and ILLIQ, the proxies of liquidity. Ln Size, Ln book-to-market and portfolio betas are taken as control variables with each proxy. In order to achieve this aim, daily data of 50 firms listed on Pakistan stock exchange for the period of January 2009 to December 2017 is utilized as a sample. The insight of this study is, there is a negative relationship between liquidity (turnover, volume and ILLIQ) and daily stocks returns. investors would need a higher rate of returns for holding illiquid stocks in their hands. Two models Fixed effect and random effect, used for the panel data, are tested. After that other tests are organized to find out which model is suitable for the analysis. The outcomes reveal that the fixed effect model is appropriate for the analysis. Heteroskedasticity and autocorrelation assumptions are attached with the fixed effect model therefore, FGLS model is used for the analysis to handle these issues. The outcomes obtained from the FGLS models for all the turnover, volume and ILLIQ proxies revealed that turnover (liquidity) is statistically and positively correlated with daily stocks returns. in addition, volume (liquidity) is statistically and positively correlated with daily stocks returns and ILLIQ (liquidity) also revealed the statistically positive correlation with daily stock stocks returns.
