Abstract Poverty is one of the most crucial and biggest social problem of the modern age. Unfortunately, the number of people living below poverty line is increasing day by day at an alarming rate. Poverty is a social problem that further gives raise to more distressing problems, like, unemployment, crime, depression, etc. Sincere efforts are being made to find a solution to this issue. However, poverty continues to afflict us by growing at an ever-increasing rate. While the world on the whole has become more prosperous in recent years, inequality has increased both within and between countries. Extreme poverty is globally the greatest single human rights issue. It is the dream of every society to get rid of poverty and its accompanying crisis, but the question that torments us is “How can this goal be achieved?” Poverty and economic deprivation are the causes of anarchy and instability in many countries of the world. Evils emanating from man designed economic system have existed from time immoral, the sufferings of which are experienced by the individual man, society of what we call the radical today. Equality of opportunity no longer exists. Are we all running a losing race? Nature has far more provided to cater to each one's requirements and needs but with the devilish acts of few, this very same Divine Blessing gets abused in the form of unequal distribution. Such unfair practices makes man to hoard more and even more, and with the high rise population there's seen an ever increase in man's greed too. Such uncontrolled liberty and unbridled power needs an emergency check. Clearly all this calls for eradication of the existing economic system. Islamic norms ensure that the principle for factor pricing is based on justice and fairness. Islamic Economic System is a swift solution in safeguarding the interests of an individual and the society as a whole. One man's meat can never be another man's poison, are those values which an Islamic Economic System offers. Through this Research paper on Eradication of Poverty, to pursue private motives and self-interest a growing realization of appreciating all what this Fair Islamic System has to offer, can be logically recognized.
