Abstract
Hindu Minority Rights in Pakistan, in the light of Islamic Teachings and Constitution of Pakistan Islam is the religion of peace and security and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the Prophet of peace and security. Allah has sent a messenger to every nation whose purpose was to make the Ahkam divine true to its people. And as far as human and religion are concerned, the study of human history shows that the humanity and religion have had a very deep connection in every era. And this relationship has not only been the source of spirituality between man and God, but it is also remaining the force through which the relations of humanity are formed in society, there is a deep connection between religion and civilization. So, it would not be inappropriate to say that civilization happened on religion. If civilization is to be seen in the world with respect to religion, then Hinduism is the third largest religion in the world after Islam and Christianity with most of its followers in India. But Hindus as a minority are living in almost all the countries of the world. After the partition of the subcontinent and the establishment of Pakistan, the third largest population of the country belongs to the Hindu religion and while in Pakistan, the Hindu community is getting all the rights that the Muslim population of Pakistan has. Because the religion of Islam has also regularly determined the rights of non-Muslims and placed great emphasis on their payment. During the Prophet's (PBUH) time there were non-Muslim minorities whose rights were regularly determined and comprehensive measures were taken to fulfil those rights. Even during the rule of the Khulfa-e-Rashiden, minorities were continuously treated equally. As far as the Hindu minority in Pakistan is concerned, according to the teachings of Islam and the constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, they have all the protections which includes religious, social, economic and political freedom as well as sociocultural rights. Thus, it can be said that the Hindu community in Pakistan has more rights than the problems they face and the solution to the rest of the problems can be find in the light of Islamic teachings. In addition, the Government of Pakistan should take such practical steps that can solve their problems in a timely manner. Keywords: Islamic teachings, Hindu, Minority, Constitution of Pakistan.
