Abstract
Poulty meat is a part of our daily diet. Every day we use varous poulty products ranging from chicken raw meat to various meat based products produced in production plants. As a Muslim it is our core responsibility to take care of sharia rules while producing and consuming food and beverages. The sensitivity increases when it comes to produce a product from animal origin ingredients. Hence it is necessary to know the sharia principles for producing a poulty based product and to implement them in the modern day poulty industry. Reviewing the already available literature suggests that various research theses, books are articles have been written on various dimensions of marketing, and production. Several reports are available that describe the current poulty industry, the challenges it faces and how to tackle them. However deriving shariah principles for production and then implementing them in the local poultry industry of Pakistan needs attention. In this thesis I have elaborated the 1st stage of marketing; Production, then shariah principles of production are derived from Quran and Hadih. After that specific sharia principles are fixed for poultry production and then are implemented in the today's poulty industry of Pakistan. The research methodology for this research is qualitative, but to know the current practices of the industry various interviews from the stakeholders are included. This research will help in enhancing halal poulty industry by applying the shariah rules and will boost the economy of Pakistan eventually by promoting halal poulty products. Keywords: Shariah Principles, Halal Industry, Production, Poultry products, Pakistan Poultry.
