Abstract In this research article, the Urdu translation of one of the renowned Chinese Novel ‘’The Romance of three Kingdoms’’ is critically analysed. This novel is considered the first novel in Chines literature and as well as in world literature. The period of 3rd century AD has been discussed, in a very literary manner. This Urdu translation of classical Chinese novel depicts the Socio-economic and geopoliticalcircumstances of that society, which was under circus due to political instability. The novel highlighted the restless struggle of the countrymen for the unity of their motherland. The important aspect of this piece of reading is the updated and modern war strategy to defend and offend against the enemy. This novelis a source of dialogue between the Chinese and Pakistani civilizations. This would provide an opportunity for the intercultural harmony.
