Abstract
(The Use of the Arabic Language in the Modern Era in the Light of Linguistic Development) -Descriptive Analytical Study This study explores the use of the Arabic language in the Modern Era in the light of linguistic development. It tried to trace the evolution from ancient roots to its vibrant existence in modern times. It starts from the origin of the Arabic language, exploring its unique characteristics and the historical context that shaped its development. Furthermore, the study highlights the enduring beauty of Standard Arabic, while acknowledging the challenges posed by the colloquialism. The narrative becomes clearer with the discovery of the dynamic role of the Arabic language in the contemporary world. The study examines the breadth and depth of Arabic literature, the influence of translated works, and the influence of mass media on language. It also acknowledges the significant contributions made by Arab embassies and cultural attaches in promoting the Arabic language in Pakistan. In the beginning the researcher tries to explore the narratives roots and growth of the Arabic language, by drawing a vivid picture of its melody and rhythm, and comparing the complex patterns of the Arabic language with other languages, to shed light on the rich texture of the classical Arabic language. The study also addresses the intriguing duality between colloquialism and Classical Arabic. The second part of the research focuses on the development of the Arabic language in the modern era, and the study of various literary and linguistic works in the Arabic language, translated works, and media language. It also examines the contributions of Arab embassies and cultural attachés to the development of the Arabic language in Pakistan. The thesis then explores the uses of the Arabic language from the perspective of translation, and stresses its importance in the Gulf region, especially in Saudi Arabia. The last part of the study deals with the impact of linguistic development on the Arabic language in the modern era. It examines the influence of linguistic and literary terms, translated terms, media terms, and military terminology on the Arabic language. The research concludes with a comprehensive summary of the results confirming the dynamic nature of the Arabic language and its ability to adapt to modern linguistic developments. We ultimately emphasized the importance of understanding the development and use of the Arabic language in modern times, providing valuable insights for linguists, translators and teachers.
