Abstract The title of my Research, Thesis for M.Phil Urdu is “The Literary Angeles of Journalistic Prose" An Analysis of Literary & Linguistics importance of Dr Abdul Wadood Qureshi Columns. Columns of “Qabel- e- Zikr" (The collection of Hundred columns) & some selected columns of "Daily Asian News" have been taken in this research.This book was published in 1994. The purpose of this research is to study of Dr Abdul Wadood Qureshi Columns writing & bring out thoughts & thinking of him about Political, Social, Educational, Literariyal, historical & Current Affairs related Columns. The columns of Dr Abdul Wadood Qureshi have unique identity. Dr Abdul Wadood Qureshi was "Consultant in Pakistan Newspaper", he was Resident editor " Daily The News, Tameer, Markez & Nai Baat", Group editor of Daily " Pakistan Islamabad" & The cheif editor of Daily" Jinnah". He is still writing Columns in the Daily " Asian News,& newspaper ( Adrak e No) in a week. The basic purpose of my Research is to explain the Urdu Columns & shedding light on his intellectual expects. Analyze the uniqueness of his style & Linguistics analysis of his columns.His columns is full of easy & simple words which will make the reader's heart search & dedicated Wadood Qureshi's column urged the people of the society to benefit from full his education.Abdul Wadood Qureshi has dealt & severe blow to today's situation & has tired to awaken the Consciousness of human beings. This Research has been devided into four chapters. The First chapter is about the definitions, Tradition of Column & Introduction of Dr Abdul Wadood Qureshi & his under column. Second Chapter is Ideological dimensions of Dr Abdul Wadood Qureshi's column. This chapter devided into four sections like Political Social, historical, educational & Literariyal & Current Affairs related Columns. Third chapter is about Stylistic Analysis & Characteristics of Dr Abdul Wadood Qureshi's Column. Fourth chapter an overall analysis has been made .This chapter is based on a comprehensive study, results & conclusions, reaching a Summarize & complilling a few Suggestions at the end.
