Abstract
Trade and business has a vital role in Islam. Qualities of a trader is briefly discussed in Quran and Sunnah. This thesis (Trading activates in the era of Holy prophet PBUH and its contemporary benefits) discusses trade before Islam, trade rules, Holy prophets trade and there trade encouragements. It also enlightens trade, industry and handicrafts of companions of Holy prophet PBUH. Qualitative method has been applied in this research. After literature review this research concludes that The Prophet did not consider hard work as a disgrace, but through it he earned his livelihood and set the models in business and trade, by adopting which we can improve our economic condition. He and his companions adopted means of occupation, employment, business and trade in every field including trade, industry, handicrafts, agriculture and through it not only promoted mutual cooperation but also provided full financial support to the poor sections of the society. It is suggested that by acting on the golden economic principles laid by our beloved prophet and his companions, we should be able to achieve our goals in the field of economics in this world and it will also enlighten our life in the eternal world and we can get financial superiority which will lead Muslims to get hold politically in the world.
