Abstract Abstract "In the Name Of Allah the Most Beneficent the Most Merciful" Topic of M.Phil Dissertation “The Impact of Arab Culture on the Poetry of Dr. Muhammad Jamil Qalander” It is a matter of fact that many Muslim poets in subcontinent had been impressed with Arabic Language. They used many Arabic words, terminologies, sentences, proverbs and the words of Quran and Hadith frequently in their poetry, which greatly influenced the readers Among them, one of the most prominent poets is Dr. Muhammad Jameel Qalandar. He was born in 1943 in "Parachanar" village which is situated in Wadi Karam in KPK province. He was a brilliant student during his educational life. He studied in many famous educational institutes in and outside Pakistan. He has many poetry books in different languages like Arabic, Urdu, Persian and Pashto. In this research, I tried to explore the influence of Arabic Language and the Arab Culture on his poetry, so to achieve this goal. I have divided my topic into abstract, preface, three chapters, bibliography, and list of contents. In the first chapter, I introduced about the life of Dr Jameel Qalandar, and his academic and literary contributions and this chapter has three sub-chapters. In the second chapter, I discussed about the impact of Arabic language and Arab culture on his literary works (poetry & prose), and this chapter has also three sub-chapters.
