Abstract This thesis comprises four chapters. First chapter consists of introduction of Maulvi Abdul Haq and Shahid Ahmed Dehlvi and fundamental discussions of drafting (Khaka Nigari). The persons of Maulvi Abdul Haq and Shahid Ahmed Dehlvi and their literary services will be discussed in this chapter. Along with this the fundamental principles of drafting will be discussed in detail. The second chapter consists of imaginative comparison of Maulvi Abdul Haq and Shahid Ahmed Dehlvi’s drafting. In this chapter the drafting of Maulvi Abdul Haq and Shahid Ahmed Dehlvi will be assessed with respect to imaginative aspects like social, political, educational, literary and religious perspectives. At the end of chapter both writers will be compared in the light of ….. Comparison. Third chapter consists of artistic comparisons of Maulvi Abdul Haq and Shahid Ahmed Dehlvi. In this chapter the important aspects of drafting of both writers like brevity, sarapa nigari, usloob, material and events will be discussed in detail. In the last the artistic comparison of both writers’ drafting will be presented. In the Fourth Chapter an overall analysis has been made. This chapter is based on a comprehensive study ,Conclusions and recommendations deduced as a result of the overview of the discussion in the first three chapters, reaching a summarize and compiling a few suggestions at the end.
