Abstract This title of my research, thesis for M.Phil Urdu is ‘‘A Study of Ideological dimensions of Wajahat Masood Columns writing, colums of ‘Muhasary ka Roznamcha” have been taken in this research. This book was published in 2017. The purpose of this research is to study of Wajahat Masood column writing and bring out thoughts and thinking of him about Political Social, historical, educational, literary and important topics of his life. The columns of Wajahat Masood have a unique identity. Wajahat Masood was a consultant in Pakistan newspaper “The News”, The Post” and “Aaj Kal”. In addition to the monthly “Nawa-e-Insan” and the weekly “Hum Sehri” was appointed as the editor. He is still writing two columns in the daily newspaper (Jung) in a week. The exact purpose of my research is to explain the urdu columns and shedding light on his intellectual espects. Analyze the uniquene of Wajahat Masood style. Linguistic analysis of Wajahat Masood columns. Wahajat Masood’s column is full of simple and easy words which will make the reader’s heart search and dedicated Wajahat Masood’s column urged the people of the society to benefit from his education. Wajahat Masood columns from full of eloquence, comprehensiveness element of interest and abstraction for the reader. Wajahat Masood does not differentiate between cast and tribe. Wajaht Msaood was written an empty society of his ethics and literature in columns.viii Wajahat Masood has dealt a severe blow to today’s situation and has tried to awaken the consciousness of human beings. Wjahat Masood is not optimistic as a good columnist
