Abstract The nineteenth and twentieth centuries can truly be called the centuries of chaos and turmoil. There are no such examples of clash of civilizatios in human history. During this period many movements arose in the global scenario that have an impact influenced literature as othe spheres of life. Western movements also had an impact on Urdu literature, one of which is the feminist movement, which ushered in a new era in Urdu literature and the tendency to write feminist literature in a new style. Abdullah Hussain holds a notable place among the Urdu writers of the twentieth century. Apart from novels, he has also short stories and noveletters. In his writings, the female characters are not as strong, dynamic and active as the male characters, but these characters have been carved according to the place given to women in society. In feudal society, man considers woman as inferior to himself. Whether she is a kiln worker or a university student, she remains an opperressed and subjugated woman who has been created for the comfort of man and who is forced to live according to his will. Abdullah Hussain the traditional view of women. In his novels, woman is not independent, but she is well aware of her importance. The research examines the exploitative and resilient attitude of women in Abdullah Hussain’s novels in the context of the post-feminist framework. Although his short stories are also available on the subject, but the proposed research is limited to selected novels. This research work is important because it appliesX Western research theories to Abdullah Hussain’s novels, which have expanded the scope of his novels and created new trends. Dozens of articles have been written on Abdullah Hussain’s work before, but so far no post-feminist study of his novels has come to light. Therefore, in view of the importance of the subject matter, Abdullah’s novels have been examined under a post-feminist framework. In these novels, the concept of woman has been introduced, which has led to the introduction of new research trends.
